The PhilEnergy Expo 2025 recently concluded, and KJTS Group was proud to have played a significant role in the crucial discussions surrounding the Philippines' energy future. The event, held on March 20, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Philippines, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and technology experts to explore solutions for a cleaner, more resilient energy landscape.

A highlight of the expo was the seminar titled "Powering the Philippines’s Energy Transformation," where our very own Adrian Lim (COO, Projects) represented KJTS Group as a featured speaker. In his presentation, Adrian shared valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities energy efficiency will bring to the region as we strive to achieve energy goals and our commitment to ESG.

Addressing the Philippines' Energy Challenges

The Philippines faces unique energy challenges, including:

• High energy prices are driven by reliance on imported fossil fuels.
• Vulnerability to climate change, manifesting in extreme weather events.
• An urgent need for cleaner, more resilient energy systems.

Recognizing these challenges, the Philippines has set targets to increase the share of renewable energy to 30% by 2030 and 50% by 2040. The country possesses abundant untapped renewable resources, but integrating them into a modernized energy system requires innovation, investment, and collaboration.
