Business Development Executive

Job Purpose

The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident in building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills. This position will report to the Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various sales administrative tasks - preparing quotations, formulating costing and sales orders
  • Follow up – engaging client and internal functions for new proposals/jobs
  • Communicate with customers to handle repeat orders via phone or email
  • Compiling various sales-related reports
  • Lead generation – identifying potential clients through various channels 
  • Conduct physical site visits – engaging clients to understand customer requirements (e.g., layout, space, scope of work, service needs)
  • Initial meetings and presentations - setting up meetings (in-person or virtual) to present service offerings, focusing on meeting prospect’s needs

Requirements

  • Must have experience in using sales software and online shared folder 
  • Comfortable in conducting sales outreach and cold calling
  • Able to coordinate well with both external clients and internal department 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Able to handle tasks with timelines
  • Comfortable to use Search Engines and AI for research 
  • Exposure to the Commercial Cleaning or Services industry is a plus
  • 2 years of experience in Sales
