Job Purpose

Overseeing and managing the organization's legal affairs and compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to senior management and various departments on a broad range of legal matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents to protect company's interests.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, dispute and negotiations as required.
• Develop, implement and monitor compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Stay informed about changes in law and regulations and assess their impact on the company's operation.
• Manage interactions with regulatory bodies and ensure timely and accurate submissions of required reports and documentation.
• Prepare and manage responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations and enforcement actions.
• Develop and implement company policies and procedures related to legal and compliance matters.
• Identify, evaluate and manage legal and compliance risks including assessing potential impact on the company's operations and reputation.
• Advise on strategies to mitigate legal and compliance risks and support business objectives.
• Manage external legal counsel and other professional advisors as needed.

Requirements

Qualification & Experiences

• Bachelor's Degree of Law.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in legal, compliance and risk management.

Knowledge & Skills

• In depth knowledge of industry's standard and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem solving abilities and decision making skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
