Job Purpose

Ensuring the quality and adherence to project specifications throughout the project lifecycle and responsible for overseeing quality control and quality assurance processes, while also actively participating in project management tasks to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections  to verify that workmanship and materials meet quality requirements.
• Identify and resolve quality issues promptly, collaborating with project stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities and findings.
• Establish quality assurance protocols and guidelines to prevent defects and ensure consistent quality throughout the project.
• Review project plans, drawings and specifications to identify potential quality concerns and make recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they adhere to quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and budgeting activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project progress and milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress report, change orders and quality assurance records.
• Communicate effectively with project team members, subcontractors, clients and regulatory authorities regarding quality related matters.
• Collaborate with design, engineering and construction teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and guidance as required.

Requirements

Qualification & Experiences

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field
• Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance and project management preferably in construction or HVAC industry.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards and practices
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
