Job Purpose

To carry out all tender and proposal activities and assist in all other Contract Department functions on timely manner to support organizations needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, and carry out tender/proposal activities to ensure competitiveness, compliances and submission on time.
• Preparation and checking of pre-qualification documents.
• Review and summarize all tender/proposal documents/requirements including specifications, drawings conditions of contracts, scope of work and other important information.
• Calculation, summarizing and checking bill of quantity, request for quotation from vendors and subcontractors and evaluate, analyze, compare and prepare tender/proposal costing.
• Preparation of tender/proposal submission and ensure all tender/proposal comply with the tender/proposal requirements.
• Ensure all tender/proposal documents, submission and other working copies are filed and kept properly for traceability.
• Coordination, clarification and negotiation with Consultant/Client.
• Keep track and follow up on tendering status and results.
• Assist in carrying out procurement activities including sourcing, evaluation and monitoring of deliveries and costing/TPRR.
• Prepare and update all reporting documentations.
• Train and guide subordinates in all tender/proposal activities.
• Carry out any other assignment as assigned by Management/Superior from time to time.
• Ensure all Contracts Department documentations and procedures are updated and in compliance with ISO procedures.

Requirements

Qualification & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineer
• At least 2-3 years relevant working experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge in engineering standard practice.
• Knowledge in Computer software eg Auto Cad.
• Familiar with Contract conditions and administration.
• Possess technical report writing skill and able to read drawing.
• Analytical and possess strong communication skill.
• Possess high level of integrity.
